Cudy AP3000 v1
The Cudy AP3000 v1 is an Indoor Wifi6 Ceiling / Wall Access Point with 1x 2.5GB LAN Port. It has 2 antennas for the 2.4GHz band and 3 antennas for the 5GHz band. The Power Option includes 12V DC (1.5A), 802.3at (PoE+) as well as passive PoE.

OEM easy installation
Note: Reset router to factory defaults if it has been previously configured.
- Download the appropriate Cudy-signed OpenWrt image from Cudy's Google Disk or ask the Cudy Support to send you the file
- Download the latest OpenWrt stable sysupgrade image
- Browse to
http://192.168.10.254/ - Choose a password. This won't be needed later
- Navigate to
http://192.168.10.254/cgi-bin/luci/admin/panel - Click on the Firmware button
- Upload the Cudy-signed OpenWrt image
- Click on the proceed button
- Wait for the device to reboot
- SSH to 192.168.1.1 or browse to
http://192.168.1.1 - Flash the latest OpenWrt stable sysupgrade image
OEM installation using the TFTP method
Entering the TFTP mode, which is currently inoperable, can be done by pressing and holding the reset button and then connecting the device to power. Release the button when the LED blinks orange and red.
TFTP Installation is not working due to a bug but might be available in the future. The TFTP Server is running but it is not possible to get an ethernet link. Looking at the serial console you can see this:

Failsafe mode
The failsafe mode has the limitation of only working with IPv6. You need to find out the IPv6 link-local address of your specific device in order to reach it. IPv4 is not working, likely due to a bug, as there is no IPv4 address set on the lan interface when in failsafe mode

To open the device unscrew the two cross screws at the bottom of the device. The top case is clipped in so you can use a flat tool get in between the top and the main case and lift the top case up.

The pins are located on the top of the PCB under the heatsink. You need to remove the heatsink in order to reach the pins.
